A model for small metal products

The PHC3R hydraulic deep drawing press is designed for producing small metal containers. The press is based on a frame with three columns. It comes with one press unit and two reworking units. The first reworking unit perfectly cuts the rim, while the second unit polishes the container. HIDRALMAC has already manufactured more than 20 PHC3R presses.

The PHC3R is for example used for the production of small fire extinguishers, metal cups or cooking pots, small pressure vessels, furniture components and much more. Presses are manufactured in accordance with EU regulations, the machinery directive 2006/42/EC and the standard DIN EU 693.

This deep drawing press is based on a typical column press

The ram of the column press is guided through four induction hardened, chrome trimmed columns. The linear guidance of the ram consists of greased bronze slide sleeves. Due to the length of the column press bronze jacks and the four separated columns the ram does not tilt. Additionally, the induction hardened, chrome trimmed columns do guide the ram very precisely.  Hence press processes can be realised very precise and efficient.

Full hydraulic equipment is delivered by BOSCH/REXROTH, control and electric components delivered by SIEMENS and we get all of our safety equipment from SICK. Basic equipment of each deep drawing press consists of:

• linear measurement device
• Siemens PLC S7 1200, 1300 or 1500 control
• Siemens 9-inch monitor
• USB port for data transmission
• Remote control for remote maintenance
• Oil cooling
