Press powder and dust effective and fully automated

HIDRALMAC powder press PH4CP represents a special type of column press. For protection of the work area from dust and to enable an effective press process for powder and dust of various materials the press is constructed closed. Dust exhaust, automatic powder feed and an automatic ejector device for pressed parts are included depending on exact model. An automated material loading is possible if desired.

The interior of the powder press is constructed as flat as possible so that as few dust as possible will be deposited within. HIDRALMAC especially emphasises good quality and explosion-proof installation of the illumination.

Like all HIDRALMAC column presses this model is manufactured depending on precise customers’ requests. For example, insertion of several press plates for simultaneous assembly or implementation of heating/cooling systems in the plates is possible. We provide the opportunity of acid-proof interior construction.

Possible application of the powder press include: production of brake linings and insulating elements.

The 4-column press PH4CP is suited for pressing of powders and dusts, sintering processes, production of brake linings, insulating elements, parts made from Bakelite etc. The powder press surface got a special treatment to make it possible to work on aggressive materials.
HIDRALMAC manufactures standard presses of this type with a maximum force up to 250 tons. HIDRALMAC additionally provides custom-made PH4CP powder presses with forces up to 2000 tons as column presses or with forces up to 4000 tons as straight-side presses.

All powder presses will be delivered with a maintenance balcony and an access ladder, unless our customers specify something else.

Please note: HIDRALMAC powder press can be used for both piece and series production. Presses are manufactured in accordance with EU regulations, the machinery directive 2006/42/EC and the standard DIN EU 693.
